Expect to see a lot more recycling of old solar panels, and a lot more low-silver and silver-free solar cells. Silver intensity has dropped by an order of magnitude in the last 10-15 years.

Shutting down wind farms that are nearly complete makes absolutely no sense. This irrational hostility toward solar, wind, and battery storage is increasing already high electricity rates. We need more energy fueled by the cheapest sources to keep utility bills affordable.

In Norway, it took 10 years to go from 16% BEV adoption to 98%. And this was at a time when only a few rather expensive models were available. How naive must one be to believe that a ban on combustion engines in 2035 would be relevant? Nevertheless, this has been debated in the

Two of the 5 wind farms Trump has halted are being built in NY. These projects will bring 1000’s of jobs, billions in investment, and power for 100s of thousands of homes. Killing them is absolutely bonkers. And illegal. https://t.co/cOO7mp7GNm

Coal isn’t coming back and it’s really dumb to want it to. We have way better energy technologies now: solar, nuclear, geothermal, batteries, etc We should deploy those instead.

Earth needs SO many solar cells. All the coal generation in the world isn't enough for China *now*, let alone China in 10 years. Then bring India to that same level. Africa. South America. Solar is essential for global abundance.
