As always, we are extremely thankful for the support from @NIBIBgov @NIH which is key to making this and many other research successful. This project lies on a great collaboration with Prof. Cunjiang Yu where a Sci-Fi-type idea was made reality. @BrighamResearch @harvardmed.
Crossing bioprinting with solar tech, NIH-funded researchers built light-sensitive heart tissue that could one day fill the role of electrical stimulation devices while offering better customizability and biologicompatibility. Read more: @shrikezhang
