@US_FDA About two years ago I was asked to help a contrast enhanced mammo company get @FDADeviceInfo approval. The data was weak sauce and the ☢️ dose wasn’t going in the right direction. I told them to find someone else.

The idea that our industry and @US_FDA are literally doubling down on ☢️ exposure in women with high risk 🧬 and dense breasts, who have a higher absorbed dose and tend to be younger/premenopausal, is really bonkers IMO.
@sethmhardy @US_FDA So for your wife/daughter with EXTREMELY dense breasts and a TC score of 18, you’ll pass on any supplemental imaging?. Not for me and my family.If Contrast mammo is an option, the radiation risk and contrast risk are negligible, compared to earlier detection of IDC. Masses are.

Raise your hand if you’ve seen an aggressive high grade breast cancer present within 12m of her screening exam? 🙋🏻♂️. High grade aggressive cancers kill people. That isn’t news, this isn’t science.
