Structures which are sorely needed for its neighbour @royal_greenwich A conservation unit would provide much needed expertise. A biodiversity officer would demand the best for green spaces in new builds, and optimise the expertise and enthusiasm of the local community.šŸŒ³šŸŒ»šŸ ā¬‡ļø.

Congratulations to Lewisham council for being awarded £800,000 from the National Lottery Heritage Fund's Nature Towns & Cities grant. Lewisham has a Conservation Unit, a Biodiversity Partnership, a Biodiversity Action Plan & regular environmental workdays involving the community.

Decision on 103 is pending. Contact your cllrs now. 63 also listed on Public Register as an HMO. Nos. 109, 144 and 169 aren’t listed. 4, potentially 5, HMOs in one street?. Application for single storey rear extension + rear dormer window often prelude to HMO application.

In the past year, 103, 109, 144 and 169 McLeod Road have had change of use from family homes to HMOs. Is someone buying up these houses in Abbey Wood, or just a coincidence?.

ā€˜Guess he forgot?’ Clearly @Len_Duvall doesn’t use the lift himself. I can understand why politicians representing central and W London - with their myriad bridges - don’t care about us here in S E London, but Mr Duvall? You were elected to care. What are you doing about this?.

@semlonghurst @Len_Duvall I wrote to Duvall some time ago to ask if he would get involved in trying to get the Woolwich tunnel north lift repaired. Got a reply from one of his staff explaining that he was aware the lift is out. That was it. Well it’s been out almost 3 years now, I guess he forgot.

"Speaking with residents who have gone through the process of having HMOs appear next to them, they were shocked that there was no control. It seems that some of these developers know the system very well and can work their way around it within the law."

These scare tactics didn’t work this time. Greens were the real threat, but Labour carried on using the bogeyman of Reform to try to stop people voting Green. Don’t let them do this again.

My parents realised their dream of owning their house, and I had a safe, secure home to grow up in. For too many today that dream is slipping out of reach. That's why we're setting up the National Housing Bank – unlocking billions of pounds to build over half a million homes.

Also hinges on EU approval to reconnect the Russian Agricultural Bank to SWIFT. Looks like those freeloading Europeans are being asked to "bail out" the United States in its diplomatic capitulation to Russia.

I don’t recall an illuminated sign here before. Did @TfL seek + obtain planning permission? Why not site it - is it even necessary? - in a hard surface area, rather than ruin the only public green space around. Bigging up TfL rather than providing a public service announcement.

Do either of you know whether homes bought using precious public funds are kept in public ownership in perpetuity? If not, and they enter the private housing market, we’ll never solve the housing crisis. @TheMurkyDepths @PhinHarper.

Councils are buying back their own homes at far higher prices than they originally sold them for. Why? Because even at high prices, it makes perfect economic sense to invest in public ownership. National government must do more to build up the nation's public housing stock.
