While I have some sympathy for people who apply that approach in the fundamental equity business there are enormous confounding factors, which humans just aren’t very good at guessing.

There’s this myth out there that successfully trading the market is about developing a smart and original sounding analysis on some topic to formulate a trading strategy where it’s pretty much the opposite. Boring conventional yet visible in the price is way better!!!.

This is the dumbest post of the day.
I'm having a tough time summoning feelings of sympathy for Switzerland. Front-running of tariffs was so huge (in gold), it threw off the entire US trade deficit. In fact, the US should push for transparency on all the Russian money hiding in Swiss bank accounts while we're at it.
