📣 Seeking medical and indoor air quality experts who are well-versed in the airborne nature of COVID-19 and the known consequences of repeat infections. This seems like a fantastic chance to make a tangible difference 👇.

Despair begets hopelessness and hopelessness, surrender. Refuse despair. Find meaning out of spite some days if you have to, but do not give up.

And yet despair is what the enemy wants. Refuse despair. Resist and find your people. Push against this evil. Do it everyday.

i’ve gone to japan, multiple concerts, a gaming convention, and book events - all masked! masking doesn’t keep me from living, it just helps keep me & those around me safer while we do so ❤️

Ever wonder what the people you admire were like as children? I do. My guess is that most of my favourite people were a handful and a half to parent. 😂.

Masks aren’t the problem. The social reaction to them is what’s making life so incredibly difficult. The messengers aren’t the problem. It’s that most have decided they don’t want to hear what the messengers have to say. And masks don’t whisper. They shout. (end).

If we can’t physically keep them out, we undermine their credibility or moral character - often both. If we are unsuccessful at not seeing what we believe to be evil, we can at least make sure we don’t believe it when we hear it, right? (9/x).

We humans have a long established history of killing the messenger. We don’t want to hear what they have to say. So we run away, hide, and bolt the doors. (8/x).

Cowardice is the problem. Groupthink is the problem. Calm-mongering narratives and weak-spined leaders are the problem. Inability to face hard truths and to adapt - this is perhaps the biggest problem of all. (7/x).

Masking in a pandemic is not the problem. Bullying is the problem. Denial is the problem. Refusing to learn & to adapt is the problem. Profit over people is the problem. Short term thinking is the problem. CYA is the problem - at so many levels. (6/x).

So, is it masks that are the problem or is the real issue the behaviour of the people who can’t or won’t deal with the reality that they are currently needed, like it or not? (5/x).
