Building inexpensive indoor air filters with Mar Vista High School students in Imperial Beach...filter efficiency is higher than ones that cost $800+. You spend 90% of your time indoors...everyone deserves clean air!! @UCSD @Scripps_Ocean

—and start from there when people tell us only people with pre-existing conditions need to worry. And I’d like women to stop selling their souls and bodies to our destruction in the name of status.”

I’d like us to take a radical approach to rejecting whatever the powers that be declare is healthy or normal until we know exactly how it is going to affect women. I’d like to consider that being a woman is a pre-existing condition in our society…

We built UP Phone for the most serious situations and critical missions. But UP Phone isn't just for soldiers and spies. Ordinary people want and deserve privacy too.

This 1998 SNL sketch aired once and then was apparently banned. It says a lot about the dangers of a handful of corporations controlling the vast majority of our media. It’s also eerily prophetic given the Warner Bros/Netflix/Paramount merger saga. Watch.

Herein lies one of our biggest challenges in IAQ advocacy: You can’t see what’s in the air. I’m increasingly seeing the value of measuring and monitoring the air in indoor spaces, especially schools.

This feels like an important breakthrough moment… On the BBC News this evening, Medical Editor @BBCFergusWalsh clearly stated: “As for facemasks, simple surgical masks are *not* good at stopping viruses. You really need a properly fitted tight respirator mask for that”… /1

This is exactly the right response when you’re a healthcare worker who finds out there’s information relevant to your work that you don’t yet know. 💜
@j_b_kennedy I’m an emergency room nurse and a congenital cardiac patient and I’ve never heard this term. That’s on me and I’ll go research it, but it’s not a term commonly used in medicine.

Recent discourse has really cemented for me that many objections to mask wearing are rooted in an insecure kind of masculinity. Wearers seen as 'weak' or 'scared'. This idea is as absurd as calling a soldier weak or scared because he or she chooses to wear a Kevlar vest.

Many older schools and daycares have poor ventilation, and windows stay closed in the winter. Many have removed existing air filter units due to a lack of funding for filters and the electricity to run them. Schools & daycares are leading the way for flu to take down our kids.
Parents, please consider getting you and your kids vaccinated against influenza. We’re getting swamped with kids with flu, some sick enough to require admission to hospital. It’s not a great match this year but it’s your best chance at keeping your kid out of hospital.

Because 1. they aren't being vaccinated 2. they aren't being fed 3. when they are fed, it's a lot of crap 4. they're being shot 5. diseases are allowed to run rampant through their schools 6. one by one, their safety nets are being dissolved

This is a choice. This doesn’t have to happen. 170 students sick in one day. At a cost of about £100 per student, £17,000 in a day. How many air filters would that buy? Ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Literally.
