I watched in horror as a pony league coach broke his fungo hitting IF and then said “this is the second one” I did not last the rest of the season helping him “coach” the team. And I wondered silently why he did not use aluminum. @butchbaccala @hitdog777.
If you can’t hit Fungo to do infield or outfield, that should maybe be your first clue that you shouldn’t be a Coach.If you can’t handle Fungo, how can your players ever listen to you or believe your lies about your playing career.Should be able to At least be able to center ball

This is a base running maxim that needs to become universally taught. Please don’t teach “freeze on a line drive”. unless it’s an obvious ld to the of?! #baserunning.
GO BACK ON LINE DRIVES. When you cue runners to freeze they advance & get doubled up. A true rally killer. Rep it during BP at game speed with real secondary leads. #baserunning

If tobacco companies were guilty of knowingly promoting falsehoods that led to early deaths, shouldn't Fox be liable for anti-vaccination falsehoods that have led to early deaths? Both did it for profit. And Fox suits and stars know the truth as surely as tobacco execs ever did.

This confirms what we already know - changing speeds is as effective way to keep hitters off balance and that the speed spread increases this effectiveness. Movement and command of all pitches might trump speed spreads for most pitchers.@JWonCATCHING.

All good @loganstout - conversely this is exactly why you don’t need to be a decorated HS player at the college level. The weak will wash out/trnsfr /quit no matter how decorated they are and the strong and committed will survive and thrive in the right programs.
Made a video that I pray adds value. I truly feel EVERY family that will experience college athletics needs to have realistic expectations. Please share as I’m seeing a LOT of bad decisions based on incorrect information. #college #collegesports .

I like walk or pitch around but I would consider the consequence of walking tying run to second.
Two outs bases loaded,bottom of the 9th, 3 run lead, bad matchup with better matchup in the on deck circle & behind in the count. Pitch around, intentional walk or go at him? For me,I have no problem walking this guy. It’s better to give up one than four. Thoughts?.

Were the gender equitable refs any better in the Iowa game?.
@BillSchammert I stopped watching the game because of alot of no calls against Wisconsin. Maybe Wisconsin football paid off the the whole entire officiating crew.
