@Villgecrazylady Imagine following a philosophy that requires killing everyone you can’t totally control, lest one day they may kill you. What space does that leave for freedom of any kind?

My stance on government isn’t rooted in rebellion or resentment. My stance is rooted in principle. I don’t reject leadership. I don’t reject hierarchy. I don’t reject earned influence, wisdom, or competence. What I reject is coercion and force masquerading as (or being

True for farmers. True for bakers. True for everybody. The government has hijacked the food supply in the name of “safety.” That’s why you don’t get to buy my cream cheese frosting. That’s why I can’t call my certified organic ingredients organic.

@billionsmustliv @myth_pilot You know the thinking is corrupted when the word “development” is synonymous with building stuff rather than improving it.

This would go a long way towards supporting small regenerative farms that treat animals well and build soil health. It would also deliver customers superior products at a lower price. Win-win.

Massie’s solution, the PRIME Act, would allow small custom slaughter facilities to avoid major processors by selling cuts of meat directly to consumers. Massie argues that this would open up competition and force the conglomerates to operate more fairly. https://t.co/NV4csf10qm

vegans are actually right about a lot...some animal based agriculture is so appalling. cramming cows into fields and feedlots, shipping them off to slaughterhouses at just 2 years old, ripping their kids from them to milk them, packing thousands of chickens into a small space...

Regenerative farmers are the backbone of a diverse, decentralized, resilient, and delicious food supply. The corrupt DC lobbyists @FMI_ORG and @SQFI are rigging the system to control the food supply. Never buy food from retailers that demand their “safety” certifications.

The issue isn’t lack of information. It is lack of customer scrutiny. Good folks already label their products without mandates. Why don’t enough people care? Perhaps due to false impressions of quality created by existing mandatory labeling regimes. Eliminate mandates!

It’s wild to think country of origin labeling isn’t already in place. I’ve always said the government shouldn’t ban or mandate products BUT they all need to be labeled properly so the consumer can decide. I want to know where my meat comes from.

First it was “low fat” foods, then “low sugar.” The real issue is foods that can sit in packages for months, made to addict and accrue money rather than to nourish and delight. If you feel the need to look at a Nutrition Facts label you’re probably not eating real food.

A lot of people demonize desserts as sugar, but the truth is most of these desserts have just as many calories from fats as they do from carbs Besides that, there's typically a laundry list of horrible, inflammatory ingredients: Flour: Enriched flour with niacin, iron, vitamins

A reminder to do what is good and right. Nothing wrong with collecting money from happy customers. But making money is not a proxy for doing good. What percentage of GDP comes from money-generating destruction?

This is very relevant to AG. There is no institution that wants to fund high capital intensive business with only long term payouts. That are in line with productivity not asset appreciation or globalist climate money supplies. Until this is fixed farm consolidation will
