No. The black vote is a voting bloc. They’re the most monolithic voting group not just in the south, but across the country. As in all things, they’re not just wrong they’re as wrong as they can be.
The core problem for black voters in the South is that even though the black population of many Southern states is large, white Southerners vote as a near-monolithic bloc, which means GOP candidates need essentially no black votes to win.
