With @BenChu_'s report on @BBCNewsnight last night echoing @Hallam_VC's piece in the @guardian, I think we're homing in on our first 'shared understanding' of the sector finances: universities were spared austerity in 2012. What happened to staff pay? 1/

This was a fun thing to be a part of; really happy to see some of our more tempered* STS takes on codes of conduct make it in. *definitely not: British cynicism.
