Widely used drug has side effects is not that surprising 25k visits between 2022-23. The story gives later says OTC cough meds cause more. For context, pickleball sends 17k to ED and while great fun, is probably doing less to treat diabetes and obesity.

This is is a little sad and yet fascinating result. Agrees with my own experience. My employer’s wellness program is awesome in that it reinforces and rewards me to do things I like anyway I don’t think it actually changed any behavior.
Researchers put together an incredible workplace wellness program that provided thousands of workers with paid time off to receive biometric health screening, health risk assessments, smoking cessation help, stress management, exercise, etc. What did this do for their health?🧵

Cold forecast more the issue for people I know that sold tickets. Still a wild scene at start of game, vols fans were very loud on Buckeyes first drive. Glad the quick start quieted them down or it could have been a very different game.
Column: Tennessee fans staged a Civil War re-enactment of Morgan’s Raid. Bold and unsettling, it ended the same way — defeat in Ohio. The Buckeyes shook off Michigan and routed the Vols, re-establishing their contender credentials.

Not to get WAY ahead of ourselves, but a Rose Bowl match up between Oregon and OSU would be ironic giving all the realignment and CFP changes.
Whether purposely or not, the committee avoided first-round rematches and conference-vs-conference matchups. Wise. Only one possible quarterfinal rematch exists: 8 Ohio State vs. 1 Oregon in the Rose Bowl.

All my doc friends should know this process how RVUs are assigned. 2 points:.1) The members of RUC are generally selected by specialist societies for example ACP for IM (ama picks chair).2) Look at makeup of RUC on why procedures valued more than visits.

See the members who make up the RUC and the specialty society they represent.
With this story, it’s worth discussing how doctors get paid in Medicare. Lengthy explainer here: . @RobertKennedyJr has mentioned reforming the American Medical Association’s (AMA) role in Medicare. To understand this, we need to explore how the AMA currently influences how.

This is just wild to me that medical accommodations are not just routine for large academic institution.
Brittany Lovely has gotten the exemption she and her professor both wanted. But she’s still fighting to get an official change in policy, so the next pregnant student will be treated better than she was.
