Amazing how many non-parents without the demands and pressure of parenthood seem to have their sleep nailed đđ. Letâs see how these guys do when their kid appears next to them at 2am demanding a cuddleâŚand then they wriggle in your bed until the alarm goes off at 6am!
Chris Williamson just shared his "nuclear" sleep stack that's quietly changing his lifeâand Andrew Huberman breaks down exactly why it works: If you're lying in bed at 2 a.m. scrolling or staring at the ceiling, this 4-minute protocol combo might be the fastest way to shut your

âIn an age of performative politicians, political reporting itself became performativeâ. How we as journalists are contributing to the democratic malaise through our often feverish reporting. And, yes, it includes a mea culpa.
As an industry, we need to confront a hard truth: the excitable manner in which politics is now covered is contributing to our modern-day democratic malaise. My latest Substack https://t.co/fofRlf2rLK

Do we really need another corporate podcast - Every time we ask someone to listen to a 30-minute podcast instead of reading a 12-minute article, weâre asking for 18 minutes of their life we havenât earned

Another good insight into the increasing âfootballificationâ of politics. All that matters is whether your side won and the reaction of rivals - the detail / policy is secondary
This is the perfect encapsulation of modern football fandom. Not even bothering watching the game and giving it beans to your rivals faces when you later see the result.

Most broadcasters wonât say this: our roads are not fair, and theyâre not neutral. Some people are far more vulnerable than others. Credit to Kieran Cuddihy for saying it on @rteliveline this week. Our laws, road design, and enforcement must reflect that simple truth.

Iâm writing in todayâs @irishexaminer on five actions to reduce deaths and serious injuries on Irish roads. 1. A Road Safety Commissioner. 2. Reduce speed limits, now. 3. Full resourcing of roads policing. 4. More speed cameras, they work. 5. Reform of Traffic Watch.

Ultimately the numbers show that fatalities & injuries primarily involve vehicles. As a cyclist who wore a helmet, light, reflective clothing and bag but still got knocked down & injured by someone not paying attention, the notion that cyclists are causing the carnage is absurd

Not to single out any specific media outlet, but the subsequent discussion following Judge OâDonohoeâs comments about cyclists in Dublin is appalling. This is an issue for all road users and a lack of enforcement is a key aspect. 1 of 2
