Excited to share: Obesity assoc w worse outcomes in UC @APandT . @akMD03 @JamesLewisGIEpi @PennIBDDoc @GKochharMD @FarrayeIBD. ✔️UC pts w/ BMI > 30 had inc risk of steroid use, change in therapy, and colectomy. ✔️Seen in pts on vedo, UST, anti-TNF & JAKi.
