Makes me laugh when folks think they can try to police what I say. I suggest they complain to my employer if they don’t like it. Email Ruth@ruthswailes.com

It’s great to win, but the lads setting the standards off the pitch makes me happy. Especially when the opposition’s manager says thank you for doing it. It should be a given. @TottyUnited

Our amazing Ambassador Anna Maxwell Martin continues to shine a light on the tensions, perverse incentives and urgent opportunity to find Another Way. Together. #supportnotsanctions

"You can't physically chuck a 13-year-old over a school gate and say: ‘Go on, get in.’" Actor Anna Maxwell Martin, who's navigated the SEND system as a parent, tells #R4Today that attitude is just as important as funding to help support children with special educational needs.

Strict rules, short shrift, firm correction, intolerance, segregation, exclusion, coercion, threat, rejection, abandonment, isolation do not dovetail perfectly with a culture of belonging and inclusion. How can it? Utter nonsense.

Looks like this (back in February) was an accurate call. So much for the big listen
So, I’m calling the scorecard outcome now. OFSTED will ignore criticism & proceed with the colour chart thing. They’ll justify its implementation as what parents want in order to choose a school. When in fact very few get a choice & if they do, OFSTED plays little part in it.
