If I teach a kid with an usual name, I ask them about it. Years ago I taught a lad called 'Reeve', so I asked him. He said his mum named him after Christopher Reeve, but as his Christian name. Told me his brother was 'Keaton'. Mum called them Superman and Batman.😮.Excellent 🤩

By sheer coincidence, my last four school projects have all been 'trees'. I don't choose the themes, the teachers do, so that's pretty unusual. Over 200 children took part in these projects, from Reception to Year 8, and they've had a ball, and that's what matters most. 😁

I've been across Dorset to West Moors Middle School where the kids have worked as a team to replace an old display with this 'kindness tree'. Including a very rare heart owl 😁.

The Reception kids had to line up for school photos today, right next to the work they made with me last time. At least three of them said to me “you aren’t taking ours down to put new work up are you?”.😆 erm no, how could I. I love ‘ownership’ 👍😁

I’ve had a lovely couple of days creating a ‘values’ display with the Year 3/4 kids at Evercreech Primary. Really careful and imaginative work, loved it. 👏👏👏 .
