I did some "lightning-quick" analysis and visualization (using the awesome @HoloViz_org #Python software stack) to pinpoint the times and locations of lightning strikes on the @UAlbany uptown campus. ⚡️⚡️⚡️ @UAlbanyDAES.
Was #UAlbany's tallest building actually hit by lightning during Tuesday's nasty storms? 🌩️ . An analysis by @UAlbanyDAES experts of lightning-detection data and 10 minutes of missing video footage suggest it was.

@burner_clmt_act After installing the required dependencies (pip install xarray gcsfs zarr), you should be able to copy and paste a snippet from the ARCO-ERA5 readme to load a dataset directly into @xarray_dev.
