Tens of millions of you have shared the struggle of black people in Baltimore. You cared about our black lives more than our own leaders.
They have done nothing for us.
Now they can’t hide.
We are the change.
Please support our movement:

Two things. 1) his medical team (Drs. RNs, techs, admin, staff) did a great job protecting his privacy. Not easy in 2020 2) Screening is recommended starting at 50. Perhaps for African-American men that should start earlier as his isn’t the first story like that I’ve heard.
One of the best cops to ever wear the uniform, anywhere, is sick with COVID. He is the heart and soul of the Michael Buczek Little League. Please pray for Sgt. Johnny Moynihan. He’d take a bullet for you, he’s take a bullet for anybody.
@NYPDnews
Life is full of really tragic ironies. My friend, Sgt Vinny Gravelli, NYPD (ret) was killed yesterday when a tractor trailer rammed his car on I-95 in NC. On 9/11 Vinny was photographed rescuing children. An act recreated on of all things, a truck. Rest easy Vinny.
@BernieSanders
My ONLY problem with this is those that couldn’t afford college, didn’t want to take on debt, and chose a different path. How are they made whole?
32 years ago tonight NYC lost one of the finest cops to ever pin on the shield. PO TONY DWYER

Great news today. The killer of hero Police Officer Anthony Dwyer had his parole denied. Thank you Pat Lynch, Greg Longworth and the

team and God Bless the Dwyer family.

The Moscow Idaho Police probably deserve 5 million apologies from every internet sleuth out there. They won’t get it but they deserve it.
This old Detective Sergeant would gladly cover their bar tab for an evening.
Shot 51 years ago today. He is never forgotten.

Tough night for the

. 1 Officer run over in Brooklyn and 2 Officers shot in the Bronx. All expected to survive. Me, and a few million other New Yorkers, glad they will survive.
29 years ago tonight I stood roll call with a great cop/man/brother/son named Anthony Dwyer. His death on the morning of October 17th still shakes me. He is never forgotten.

When I worked WITH Bernie I knew I’d be going home unharmed.
When I worked FOR Bernie I knew we were doing the best for the people of NYC.
A great cop, a better friend.

My old partner, MIKE SASUK, opened his eyes today. He’s been on a ventilator for 16 days now. He responded to questions with head nods and wiggled his toes. They’ll be slowly evaluating him for extubation. This is literally cheating death.

I retired from the NYPD in 2005 after 20 years of service. Since then I’ve missed it every day as doing “God’s work” is truly a blessed way to earn a living. I don’t miss it anymore. For my brothers & sisters still out there, please, PLEASE, stay safe.
My old radio car partner, Mike Sasuk, moved into

ICU on Mar 25, on a ventilator for 18 days, was moved off the unit to a standard room today. A miraculous recovery from COVID.

May 1 is a holiday in my house. Thank you
@mchooyah
and your shipmates. There aren't enough steaks to grill or beers to buy that could adequately say THANK YOU.
From 1988 thru 1996 I had one partner on patrol, in Anti Crime and Intell; MIKE SASUK. After retirement from the NYPD Mike rose to Chief of the Babylon FD. He is currently battling pneumonia and COVID-19 at Stony Brook Hospital. Please keep him and his family in your prayers

the interlocked NY on your unis and hats was copied from the NYPD Medal of Honor. You think cops are the problem? Man up and give us back our logo.

To be clear, assassinations and assassination attempts of Police Officers is a direct result of the anti-police rhetoric espoused by many of our political and cultural leaders
77 years ago, right now, my Dad and a few hundred thousand of his closest friends were on their way to kick some Nazi ass.

In the past 3 days 2 cops, in separate parts of our country, died while rescuing struggling swimmers.
Don’t tell me the police are the problem because I can guarantee that at each incident, 10 or 20 people streamed it.
If you were a NYC cop from 9/11/01 to 1/1/02, just 113 days, you handled the rescues on 9/11, the recoveries from 9/12 on, Anthrax, the Mayoral election, the NYC Marathon, Flight

I’m not MAGA but have family in a LTC facility in NYS. The
@HealthNYGov
were downright criminal in their actions from March to May. Not just putting COVID into NHs but shielding family from vital data. NY flattened the curve, but at what cost?

he returned home tonight.

2A arguments aside the murder rate in NYC is probably lower than where you're from. <300 murders last year for a city with a population of 8.5M (and almost 10M from 8AM-6PM, M-F, when you include commuters and tourists)
A man assaults a woman and is then killed by her friend.
A cop is beaten going to work
A Good Samaritan is indicted for manslaughter.
Unless Albany changes their strategies, and right quick, all of those stories will be repeating themselves.
Guaranteed
PLEASE EVERYONE the NYPD tweeted at 1542 that Officer Mora is being transferred to NYU/Langone.
Please no more eulogies or memorial memes.
Put your efforts into PRAYERS!
Let’s call it what it is, cities are boarding up because a Trump win means rioting. If Biden wins those unhappy about it will just go to work on Wednesday.

I investigated train accidents for 2 years in NYC. Train lines/yards in urban settings are confusing even for those normally on the tracks. Add to that the unusual ways that sound travels in a city and the officers focus on the gunman and you have a recipe for tragedy.

Dude - I'll say it again because it's worth saying again. A giant building fell on me and a whole bunch of my fellow cops and NY'ers. RJO killed the guy that did it. There aren't enough steaks to grill or whiskeys to pour that could pay my debt to him. Cheers Rob we've got your 6
