The majority of the No Kings protests have dispersed at this time and all traffic closures have been lifted.  We had more than 100,000 people across all five boroughs peacefully exercising their first amendment rights and the NYPD made zero protest-related arrests.

All of these record-setting crime reductions are because of the men and women of the NYPD. They are out every day and night, risking their own lives to get guns off the streets, to stop dangerous criminals, and to make our city safer. No one does it better than they do.

This is not a coincidence — it’s the result of an unprecedented, data-driven deployment of thousands of officers to the areas they are needed most. Our officers were given a clear mandate to get the guns and go after violent gangs — and they delivered.
