Oh to be on Blakey Ridge today. Over 10°C warmer than the surrounding valleys that are full of fog suppressing the temperatures not far off freezing. Quite possibly one of the warmest places in the UK with a max of 12.1°C.

Visited Esk Valley this afternoon where my weather station here fell to -10.8°C overnight. A classic frost hollow in the #NorthYorkMoors only a few miles from the North Sea.
