Today I was swarmed by EIGHT armed police officers who took me off the train for a "random" control. They literally entered the train as a group and went straight for me. They said I was being taken to their office to avoid the embarrassment of being searched on the platform,

I was debanked as a tech founder. I cannot open any bank account in the UK anymore. No explanation was given, just "here's a check, now leave". Worst yet I'm being harassed at airports. Detained for many hours, questioned and arbitrary restrictions created for me. I was told I'm

This is a good example of how to face all problems. Almost nothing in our lives exists in a binary frame. I love this slogan (it's actually a part of harm reduction strategies) : "Better is better." Good choices should not be ignored because they're not perfect.

Did you know that Bitcoins coming from mixers often carry a high risk score? 😳 Fortunately, there’s a solution. 👇🏻

Arbitrary content on blockchains makes them far more risky, legally and morally, to operate, than with blockchains confined to financial transactions. Running a node where one cannot selectively delete unacceptable content without wider functional disruption is also far riskier

@th_s4m0ht @maniac94846 Up until Core v30 Bitcoin has never had a feature intentionally designed to host non-financial content. It only had financial features hijacked to hold non-financial content.

The Internet was literally designed to route around damage - decentralized by design. Then we handed it all to three cloud providers. The irony is painful.

@NickSzabo4 'Religion' is a natural part of the human condition. Absence of religion doesn't exist, its instead supplanted by the television. Immigration/abortion/homosexuality/race mixing etc are their religion and that's antithetical to reproduction of a ethnic group.

@zamir591582 @adam3us @satflation @jabulanijakes @BitMEXResearch @giacomozucco (1) the legal incentives I described are real, and substantially lower the probability of this happening, (2) running Knots further lowers the probability, and (3) this is the best we can do right now.

As a (hopefully) temporary measure, run Knots. I strongly recommend not upgrading to Core v30. https://t.co/d9HFi7T59H

At the end of the day, we’re all #Bitcoiners. 🧡 Disagreements and drama are temporary, but the shared mission remains the same: securing Bitcoin’s future. Different visions, same goal. Over time, things will calm down and we’ll move forward together. ⚡️

They're spelling it out. The changes in Core v30 make it easier for them to "Enable new forms of crowdfunding, staking, and digital economies on Bitcoin L1." Make no mistake, this is shitcoining, and it is a net negative to Bitcoin. Any "use case" that isn't making sending and
