This is the “compensation” I got from @airfrance and @KLM for a delayed flight that led to my missing the connecting flight and to my being stranded at the Amsterdam airport for 9 hours. Embarrassing customer treatment.

Excited to share my PhD work!🎉 By characterizing and comparing the cells at the aboral end of the planula larva in 3 cnidarian species, we identified shared molecular features and propose a model for settlement regulation in cnidarians 🪼🪸. @Clytia_Vlfr

Happy to share two post-doc papers co-authored with the amazing @AnaMonteagudo4 and @teresa_urli. We had amazing collaborators for both projects, even our supervisor @maxvcg joined in on the experimenting! 1: https://t.co/b3cr82wqJz 2: https://t.co/yvdaJWmY13

The research project that got the lab off the ground has been published in @NatureSMB 🥹. I couldn't do a better job of summarizing than co-lead author @jrichardalbert , so he'll take it from here! (and makes unexpected connections with our other recent study)

As a scientist, I’m trying understand how things work by making observations. Observation 1: Trump has 50% chance of being elected Observation 2: Trump talks about Arnold Palmer’s dick in rally. https://t.co/dLsaeWCPSr HOW THE FUCK can these two observations be reconciled?

And some more bad news on the climate change front:
nature.com
Nature - Aiming for declining global temperatures can limit long-term climate risks compared with a mere stabilization of global warming, including sea-level rise and cryosphere changes.
