These are the people who blocked the swift brick amendment last night. 102 Labour Peers thanks to the rather extreme 3 line whip which just goes to show how much #Labour do NOT want to help nature let alone swifts. Normally a 3 line whip is used for fairly extreme amendments.

As yes the old double the cost of the sewage works trick. Water companies have a terrible and rather regular habit of doing this, cost of Cambridge new sewage works went from £400 million to £700 million and guess who was been asked to pay for it all? Just ask the good people

We discovered a huge 12,000 ng/l of PFOA in the River Wyre near a discharge outlet from the chemical plant. Now, investigations by the EA & UK Health Security Agency have found elevated levels of the forever chemical, classed by the WHO as a group 1 carcinogen, in local soils.
