In -6 temperatures, I found a woodmouse on the main road, barely able to move. Eyes shut+disorientated I popped it in my glove thinking it would at least die in peace. That was 2 days ago. It’s now in a temporary house with a slipper for a palace, scoffing nuts. #MouseInTheHouse.

Can anybody help?.I just don't have time 😔.Many swifts at a loyal swift colony at Albert Road, Ramsgate have been blocked from their nests by scaffolding. they probably have young in nests too. no answer at property (its flats) This is against the law & I have reported to police

Thank you @BBCNews for giving birds airtime and for calling me a swift campaigner. My heart just swelled with my pride with that label. @ZacGoldsmith and I remain hopeful that the govt will care about our closest wild neighbours like WE ALL do.

2 swifts spotted flying over Barnes yesterday. THEY ARE COMING HOME. Yet @michaelgove has yet to greenlight the simple swift brick measure to allow them to have a home in Britain. By 2025, the BTO estimates there will be fewer than 40,000 pairs remaining.
