Vote out the MNPS board for the students. Take a walk down memory lane via one student. Truly sad to see the student experience over the last YEARS of high school, while surrounding systems/privates were open and mask free. Stay to the end to see the MNPS response to concerns.

“Too many public schools are failing, parents are voting with their feet, and urgent and bold action is needed. Until now, however, the only governmental response has been to spend more money — too much of which has gone to everyone but our children” https://t.co/7Smwt8vhrD

Only 44% of @MetroSchools kids went on to college last year (a 10yr low) @MetroSchools kept High Schools closed from March 20-March 21 When we tell kids school doesn’t matter, they believe it No more politics on the school board. Vote for an Independent #patefor8 #kidsfirst

A Nashville chess teacher went off on the absurd elementary mask restrictions at a local private school. It’s epic, enjoy.

When the World Health Organization and UNICEF said not to mask kids under 6, the CDC and American Academy of Pediatrics said... we will do it anyway. Apparently, we prefer to fire up a culture war with no credible data, and harm toddlers in the process https://t.co/rFHsgmtHBl

I know several amazing psychologists like @DrHasson2 and @jenreesman that testified over and over again about this. Turns out they weren't "alarmists" and that kids aren't all that resilient after being locked out of school for over a year. Wish ANYONE would have listened.

Per the director of psychological services for @MCPS “We are seeing increased rates of students who are being referred to our Montgomery County Crisis Center due to issues of self-harm and suicidal ideation,” she added. “We didn’t see this last year because students were home.”

Across 3 different states, a natural experiment with 2 adjacent school systems with differing mask policies took place. All three corroborate the same results: there's no observable effect of the policy. North Dakota, Tennessee, and Florida. Which ones have the mandates?

The school closures will catapult wider race and income inequality into the next generation. Of the many egregious blunders the lockdowners and Dr. Fauci made during the pandemic, pushing to keep schools closed could be the single worst. https://t.co/0Q8pCCFdQ6
