Brain vomit incoming: Why don’t the Rockies just use mostly all high draft capital on hitters, and spend most all of their money on elite bats? Just invest the bare minimum in pitching, since it will most likely be bad regardless.

It always puzzles me when fans of a team defend the front office when they don’t sign a guy because his price was a little too high. “I would pay 21M, but not 25M” - it isn’t your money - there is no real salary cap - your teams owner(s) are billionaires - it isn’t your money
