Some also didn't even make the visual. Few preps that were late rnders/not picked and some seniors like Jack Martinez (95/went 243) and Jared Spencer (82/322). Two Penn State guys: Weingartner (133/240), Kling (140/205), and two Wake guys: Ariola (127/213) and Lunceford (116/347).

Here's an interesting visual of my draft board compared to where they were picked . Dickerson and James stick out the most of me being higher on them vs. where they were picked. Other notables: Eyanson, Lodise, Jimenez, J-Q-I. On the opposite end: Voit, Dzierwa, Flemming, Young.

Red Sox R10 pick Maximus Martin is a nice power bat had a 108 90th%/114 max EV with 14 HRs this season for KSU. Results are very poor against spin but the power is a legit 55+. Not all that different of a profile from Mason White who went six rounds earlier to the Sox.

Red Sox R9 pick is Jacob Mayers from LSU who has an absolutely electric fastball. 95-98 T102 with an elite 23" of carry, picked up a 35.7% in-zone whiff (45.8% in the upper-third). Slider and splitter are a work in progress.

Red Sox R8 pick from ODU Dylan Brown is a big 6'5 lefty with some nice traits. FB is fringe-average but the secondaries are legit. CH is 81 w/ good separation off the FB, 59% GB and >40% whiff/chase. Gyro SL sits 81 and got a 33% whiff/chase.

FInley's fastball gets to 97 and plays. His slider though?. 82-84.2"/11".39.7% whiff.44.4% chase. 190 BAA. Gross.
Red Sox take Georgia RHP Leighton Finley with their 6th round pick. 4.85 ERA in 20 starts (68.2 IP). 10.9 K/9, 3.3 BB/9. #357 on @BaseballAmerica’s big board. 6’5, 225. Fastball is up to 98, sits 91-94. Slider is his best secondary. Deceptive delivery.

Might be my favorite pick of the day so far. Episcope was 139 on my board. Up to 99 w/ the FB before he got injured while the mid-80s slider had a 55% miss rate. Also a curveball in the high-70s that plays.

Foutch got up to 100 with the fastball this year with plenty of raw spin. Splitter sits 87 with 1,400 RPMs and had a 48.5% whiff/33% chase.

Korbyn Dickerson is easily the best name still available after Day 1 (No. 43 on my board). Hit 19 homers this year with a 110 90th%EV and 117 max for Indiana, spraying power to all field while he's a plus runner that plays 55 defense in center.
