Lazaro Montes has the profile of a 'boom or bust' prospect. His production in 2025 has been ridiculous, but it comes with worrying contact rrates across the board. The comparison with Yordan Alvarez has never been fair. #TridentsUp

With a Twins organisation stripped down to it's bare bones, youth will have chances to play. He does have plenty of competition for places with the likes of Walker Jenkins, Byron Buxton, Emmanuel Rodriguez & Gabriel Gonzalez, but his overall development has been great.

He's 22 now and re-did Double-A, so it's highly likely he starts at Triple-A in 2026. Both his Contact% decreased and SwStr% increased, which would usually be negative. But he has been more aggressive, and combined this with an elevated walk rate. Something to monitor.

Kala'i Rosario had a true breakout year:. - 21 HR & 26 doubles in 114 Double-A games. - Decreased his K% by 2% to 27.6%. - Increased his BB% by 2.2% to 13.6%. - Stole 25 bases, a career-high. This resulted in an .850 OPS over the season, a career-high. So what's next? 👇

Luis Morales has been great:. A 1.19 ERA in his first 22 MLB-innings is special, with a ridiculous 43.2% Whiff% on his slider. Underlying metrics suggest some regression is expected (4.64 xERA & 3.08 FIP), but he could be a key piece in the Athletics' young core. #Athletics
