Trust the process … it’s hard and learn how to persevere through challenges. Fun part is the process.
Really breaks my heart when a parent forces their kid to quit a sport they love for their own comfort/interests. Football does so much for a young man and stealing that from them when they want to be there is gut wrenching. You only get the chance to play football once.

Players and parents have to understand that watching other people’s offers and other people’s social media will send you down a mental spiral that can get out of control. What’s going on with someone else has nothing to do with YOU.

If players don’t have a 2.0 GPA they can’t attend our spring practices until they do. That’s not a WA rule and it’s not our district’s rule; it’s our program’s rule. We really mean it when we tell our players we will never use you for football and that they’re students first.

I’m not really concerned with the transfer rules. Focus on the ones that want to be with you. Thank the ones that want to leave for the time they’ve given you. No reason to cry over spilled milk. Football has always been about the collective, not the individual.
