Players- commit to a school, then program, then head coach, then assistant coach. Too many do the opposite. And go visit! You need to get a feel. A commit should be logical, not emotional.

Juco ball and division two and three has started, High school goes today, and division one starts next week. Great to have baseball back. I enjoy MLB but this is a great opportunity to go watch amateur baseball. Minor leagues should not be affected so that’s great too!

Life kicked my rear end last year. Arthritic shoulder, staph infection, pneumonia, multiple blood clots, wore 95 EV ball and broke ribs. I became gun shy with everything. New Year’s resolution is F that, it’s go time! Get back up and keep punching. More to follow…

It’s my grandfather’s birthday today. He Played football at Cal, Was a world-class sailor, and an architect who helped design Jack London Square. He and my grandmother were amazing people and I was lucky to have them in my life! 🙏

John Madden died today at 85. He was a legend and a local guy. He was known for three things all depending on how old you are. First a coach, then a commentator, then a video game. Great man who meant a lot to the bay. RIP

One of our guys asked to see me and asked what he needs to do to play more and I asked him how much he had played the first two games. he told me and I absolutely overlooked it and screwed up. I apologized and told him that he handled it extremely well. lots of respect for him.
