TIL there is an ongoing phase 3 clinical trial by neurona therapeutics to transplant human ESC-derived MGE-lineage interneurons into human brains to treat epilepsy. Amazing.

I'm giving a @PacBio webinar on Sept 10th on using ultra-deep long-read RNAseq and proteomics to characterize isoforms and alternative splicing in human neuron development. I'm really excited to talk about this project!
