In our paper in @NatureGeosci, we find increasing concentrations of soluble phosphorus across the Great lakes Basin. Greater increases at higher latitudes suggest warming winters to be a potential driver #ClimateChange #waterquality #machinelearning @GWFpubs @LakeFutures

Resumes shouldn't just showcase our success. They should feature our struggles too. No one's life is a highlight reel. Character isn't visible in our triumphs alone—it's revealed by the hardships we endure and the challenges we conquer. Here’s my lowlight reel. What's on yours?

The Ukrainians have lost the ability to detect the approach of Russian bombers and other warplanes as they take off inside Russia. As a result, Ukraine has less time to warn civilians and military personnel about an approaching airstrike or missile. https://t.co/7YypCmGrJs

Trump’s decision to suspend the flow of military intelligence to Ukraine this week has aided the Russian advance along a critical part of the front. ā€œAs a result of this pause, there are hundreds of dead Ukrainians.ā€

Ontario is having a colder winter this year. Maybe good for our 2025 blooms.. when winters are warmer it releases all the bound phosphorus in soils and without crops it runs off to our lakes patiently waiting for the temperatures to warm https://t.co/RxpZPvqbfd

Algal blooms are typically associated with summer weather but warmer winters caused by climate change are resulting in blooms appearing more frequently, and for longer periods.

You want to reduce the carbon footprint of your food? Focus on what you eat, not whether your food is local. Transport emissions are very small for most food products.

To what extent do calculated P balances reflect measured soil P stocks? After 145 years of crop rotation x fertilization , (i) +P balances > measured P stock differences, (ii) legacy P found across diverse fractions, (iii) P changes decoupled by depth https://t.co/7VLdbXXWMo
