Today is the day! My book is now officially available from booksellers everywhere. None of this would have been possible without the support and trust of the survivors and the human rights activists and scientists who fight alongside them. 1/2

I am so sad at the brilliant light we have lost. But I am so grateful for his continued guidance.

I am updating my Science, Technology, and Society syllabus. Hive mind: any thoughts on what I should add or if you have taught this and wouldn’t mind sharing your syllabus I would be grateful!! Thank you!

Being part of ⁦@UciLifted⁩ has been one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. I was honored to be at their graduation. I am so very proud of each of these students for working so hard and for graduating. Congratulations class of 2024!

Shameful speech by the President as campuses have unleashed police on students—he blames protesters as the problem & ignores the violence they've faced. If dissent was crucial to our democracy, you would spend more time listening to their demands than lying about their tactics.

Biden is now giving a completely one-sided, dishonest speech about these campus protests. “Dissent must never lead to disorder.”

Feels kind of silly to have to say this but damage to property is not violent. Shooting college students in the face with rubber bullets is extremely violent however. Hope that helps

This is exactly what’s making any normal observer feel insane. A pro-Israel mob attacked these kids with slurs, fists, mace, and fireworks. Police watched for HOURS & did nothing. A day later, police instead bombard *them* with rubber bullets & flashbangs. (All in a “blue” state)

The extent to which US news orgs have decided that cops beating protesters is normal, and therefore not really worth reporting on, is very, very scary. Every one of these incidents should be front page news.

More than 30,000 people have now been killed in Israel’s onslaught on the occupied Gaza Strip. Don’t get used to this, take action and demand a ceasefire now. https://t.co/gNatCpJCNX
