Incarcerated artists at Pleasant Valley State Prison donated their paintings for the annual Down Syndrome Awareness Walk in Coalinga. Artists donated their work to be auctioned off with proceeds benefitting the Down Syndrome Association of California. The artwork raised $650.

CDCR encourages physical wellness, and Correctional Counselor Daniel Kirk is leading the way completing the 228-mile John Muir Trail with his son, and father. Their three-generation trip ended with a summit of Mount Whitney. In 19 days, they created memories to last a lifetime.
