Wrote #MobX precisely to be able to separate view and model again, while also boosting performance by leveraging signals (avant la lettre).

I'm right there with Ryan. The architectural and design advantages of the signal model are what I value most in real-world systems. React’s biggest flaw, from the start, has been its mishandling of the model–view relationship. Rather than separating out the model as an.

The speed in which the US seems to be moving from cornerstone of the western world into a Russia 2.0 mobster state is kinda insane and very sad. And likely the end of being the world's geopolitical most influential nation.

Trust me, we tried. It got us Hitler, Poetin, Orban etc. They fixed their economies, then declared some crisis, stayed on, and in the end exact a terrible price. Go Dem and in the next 4 years plz reinvent Rep into something worthy of democracy like Haley, Pence, Cheney or whatev.

When electing a strong man that doesn't respect a priori the democratic outcome and wants to persecute opposition, you're voting an dictator. You can't control them, and they won't do your bidding, it's just sweet talk. You end up doing theirs.

Election day. Well since this likely has global ramifications, some advice from an European: it doesn't matter if a candidate has the best policies or pays tribute to our moral values (1/3).

I do like working at an office as well. And for certain few activities (design / brainstorming) it is more efficient + I really enjoy the social aspects of it. But stack ranking remote with occasional office trips just ticks more of my priorities and values then RTO.
