Moscow demanding $15-million monthly from impoverished Central African Republic to pay for Russian soldiers in the country. CAR is reportedly asking UAE to pay the bill -- but in exchange UAE wants supply routes through CAR for weapons to RSF in Sudan.

We know from 20 yrs ago that part of the Janjaweed plan is to target community leaders, doctors, volunteers, teachers & professors. Prof. Abbas is one of them. Tragically, all of this is preventable but those with the power to prevent decide to look away.

I'm all for Cdn politicians, such as @SenatorHousakos raising #Darfur. But he is either woefully misinformed or manipulating a huge tragedy for crass political purposes. Darfur is NOT about religion, any more than the Rwanda genocide was.
Christians are being massacred in Sudan while the world averts its gaze. No outrage. No protests. No calls for justice. Only deafening silence.
