On an @AerLingus flight to Dublin this morning the Captain, as we flew over Land’s End, gave a full description of where we were and the route we would be taking to Dublin in fluent Irish and then in English. Impressive.

As Samhain approaches the ghouls are beginning to appear along the Cootehill Road in #Cavan (beyond Breifne College, on the right hand side coming from town). They’ve become an annual Halloween highlight for me, they’re truly terrifying – look out for them if you’re from Cavan.
