When I say I will come to your holiday social, this is what I mean

I think one of our problems in this world is the loss of romance. The romance of nature, of beauty, of wonder, of poetry, of writing letters infused with the delicate intricacies of the heart.

May we all approach life with a great resounding "Yes!" To approach it with a sacred sense of wonder, curiosity, generosity and gentleness. May we reach out in compassion and a childlike sense of newness and discovery.

Me (with depression trying to get through the holiday season):

I went to visit my father in assisted living. We sat & watched golf, which is something he always loved. I asked him questions about courses he's played & golfers he's met. Although I have never been interested in golf, I knew it is something he loves so I shared in it with him.
