I don’t care about this individual’s past, however I do care about his current behaviour. Why @bbcpress thought this was an appropriate casting is beyond me.
@bbcpress This convicted criminal threatened to come to my house and intimidate me into to fighting him after I informed people he was privately educated. It had his fans encouraging him to stalk my wife and kids. Absolute bottom of the barrel stuff from @bbcpress.

Who wrote this? Money out of the pockets of disabled people…for a nuclear power plant that will most likely create jobs outside of the UK? What? Also revenue and capital are…well…different things?.
Earlier this year, my government took on the tough but fair task of reforming our welfare system. The Tories opposed it. Reform opposed it. Today, because we took on that task, we have been able to invest in building a new nuclear power plant at Sizewell – creating 10,000 jobs.

This is great! Why oh why though is this not a national thing in England, all year round, not just the summer holidays? Since 2022, Scotland has offered free bus travel for under 22’s (£120m cost, over 45 million trips, increased bus patronage).

Cycling into town after a short holiday & half the roads from Mina to Ashton have been poorly tarmacked. Bumps, pooling of water, no lining & completely unsafe for cycling especially for those visual impairments as all black. What is going on @bristolgreen @EdPlowden @TonyDDyer?.

What I don’t get is why @UKLabour didn’t just announce a National Care Service? Talked about hope & opportunity, that clapping was not just a token gesture in the pandemic, lower costs etc. Then:as part of this policy we���ll also reduce our reliance on immigration in this sector.
The PM is right about the risk to our country of becoming an island of strangers- but it’s not (just) due to immigration. It’s the rise of social media, decline in community institutions, reduced volunteering, the collapse of pubs, churches and more. Community needs rebuilding.

This doesn’t mean open borders. It means exactly what is said above: a system based on compassion, dignity and need. I’m all behind training up care workers, paying well, & sorting out the broken (privatised) system with a National Care service. But one comes before the other.

There is just such an entitlement with ‘must speak fluent English’ when so many native speakers people can’t tell the difference between ‘bought’ and ‘brought’. People need to get back on the streets to defend the positive contribution of migrants and refugees to our society.

Female politicians are held to completely different standards than men. @LouHaigh was an outstanding minister unfairly treated. Meanwhile there is a man still in a senior transport position who was giving out loaded Oyster cards to a sex workers & claiming unreasonable expenses.

We are facing a major repair in Bristol shortly - 18 months to 2 years of chaos! In part it’s due to years austerity and Brexit skills gaps, but actually Highway Maintenance has had a recent increase under @UKLabour so why does it still take so long?? Culture?.

Honestly shocking. A graduate on minimum wage could earn less than minimum wage due to this threshold. Even more shocking is that MANY grad jobs are still being advertised with this starting salary or below!.
1. A full time worker doing 40hrs a week on the new increased £12.21/hr minimum wage would earn just over £25,000. 2. The Plan 5 student loan repayment threshold (ie English students who started uni since 2023) is £25,000 and is frozen until 2027. So in the April after those.
