A lesser-known brainstem “safe entry zone” is the posterior intermediate sulcus, between gracile & cuneate nuclei. Unlike posterior median sulcus, it lacks midline arteries & an obvious sulcus, but it leads right to deep cuneate medullary cavernomas. Happy Thanksgiving!
