The Chicago Sun-Times published an upcoming summer books list that is obviously AI. The clues are that there is no byline and at least 8 of these titles do not exist.

Q: When did you first have the idea for this book? And what inspired you to actually write this book? My co-author Sharon and I taught at the same school for several years. As creative writers and creative writing teachers, we had lots in common — even... https://t.co/9gShDn2oMH

The ongoing pandemic is erasing so many people--disabled, science-following, elderly--from society, and keeping it out of fiction removes yet another space for us. It's a significant part of this decade's story, and ignoring it means our pop culture continues to ignore 1/2

I think it shows publishing’s ableism and erases part of our history.

My newest novel is basically Romeo & Juliet, but with old ladies in space. (Galactic lesbians FTW!) And BIG NEWS: I just signed with the inimitable literary agent @NaomisLitPix to help me boost this little ship on its way! I can't wait to share the novel with you. Stay tuned!

Kelli is a fine poet whose aesthetic reminds me of Lucille Clifton in its minimalism as well as meditative quality. Yet, there is a wistfulness and ephemeral nature to her poetry that is all her own. - Bianca Lynne Spriggs https://t.co/CmWUDmN1Bg

I am always happy to share my experiences with other writers! I have learned so much from other people going through this process before and with me. (A wee correction to the original post: I still don't have an agent, but my first novel is coming out in March nonetheless!)

If water gets in the house every time it rains, it is time for a new roof! If it gets horribly acrid and stinky every time the weather warms up, we need some new regulatory approaches to address industrial polluters!! SmellPGH reports today:

We need a name for what is happening on this thread. It seems to be a collision between vax-and-relax (VRC) culture and COVID-cautious culture (CCC). VRC is often surprised by this encounter. CCC has seen this countless times. Maybe we call it a #COVIDcultureclash incident?

I’m currently going through COVID after the DNC. For a claim the DNC didn’t care: everyone attending knew the risk & increase in cases. We’re at risk every day. The good news? Dems get vaccinated & boosted. There’s a level of herd immunity. If high risk, be safe. Get vaccinated.

I loved this book! It was snarky and tender and clever and swoony. Highly recommend . . . plus it’s on sale!
