"When everything seems to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off in the wind, not with it" (Henry Ford). Hard real experiences shared at #TAD2025 had connected themes throughout. We were shown how opportunity follows challenges by Jude, Michael & Alex 🙏💙

Though a scary fact, Martin was sharing something we all need to be aware of and speak up about. 48% of the #T1D community in the UK are over 50. An avalanche of care needs is moving & w/out making edu in care mandatory, much more people will die of T1D issues unnecessarily.

Lucky to be at TAD because of @scivier_martin gave me a purpose and @markvader gave me a plan 🙏💙✨

Only some of the happy moments from #TAD2025 .The stories shared from our own experiences help remind us to reflect (Michael) on finding something we love (Jude), to fight to be able to do (Alex) & that we ARE ALWAYS caring for ourselves with those 180 life/death choices (Rhea).

#TAD2025 are hoping to gather £2,500 for Life For A Child. It's nearly there. A way for any of us to #PayItForward ourselves & show thanks to the TAD guys efforts helping us here in the UK which helps them reach some further away to us that don't have access to the basics.
