This is why survivors don't come forward. They have to endure the trauma of the assault, then they have to go through the court process which is traumatic, all to have it judged in their assaulters favor because of insufficient evidence. Justice for survivors is non-existent.

Last year I had some severe abdominal pain & the male doc I saw told me it was probably just cramps & to take some advil. Went to VGH emerg the next day, saw a female doc & her first comment was "he didn't even examine you, did he? Typical male doc". Found out I had appendicitis.
