🤩 I don't know what the best part was: the laughs, the amazing audience, or the real interest I felt anaesthetists have in improving risk understanding and #RiskKnowHow. It was all great Thanks, @RCoANews and @lfinikarides!🎙We also recorded a podcast! @senseaboutsci

I am unbelievably excited to be given this opportunity. I applied for it (and anyone can: https://t.co/79StQHMHpa) because it’s a chance to work in public service, whilst not being at the mercy of party politics.

For #InternationalWomensDay: decision support for those with heavy periods. That's about a third of women, more commonly those whose periods are just starting or finishing. There are things that can help. Spread this document so that everyone knows: https://t.co/RsNC1EDZJg

This site is the results of several years' work by people at the Winton Centre (such as @mesotronium, @acethecurious and @lfinikarides), statistical work from @cjackstats, support from @d_spiegel but overwhelmingly from breast cancer patients and clinicians who worked with us.
