This is meant to disenfranchise NYers ahead of November. The old maps were legal and created independently. It’s @TishJames’ job to defend NY from things like this. The judge was Hochul’s former chief. Respectfully, the right thing to do was to recuse himself from this case.
This would have a ton of ripple effects, especially if this is the new map: — NY-11 would become a blue-leaning swing district (~Harris +3.5) — Goldman would prob switch to running against Malliotakis in NY-11 (but maybe Max Rose runs?) — Lander likely on glide path in NY-10
