This is as bad as it gets now at the 9AM Monday morning school drop off rush hour. Thanks mainly to the removal of Ealing LTNs, we have our morning peace and quiet back in what was also a previous LTN. Thank you @EalingCouncil @_petermason @deirdrecostigan @jkblacker @EalingOne!

The recent LTNs in Ealing pushed traffic onto the one main route my children walk to school and nursery, forcing us to walk on the other side of the road to try to avoid the gridlock. One child’s loss was another child’s gain.

You do realise that David is @LittleNinjaUK, a concerned parent who (like @rosamund_ElsFdn @ediz1975 & other long-time AQ campaigners) passionately opposes LTNs, which extend & add vehicle miles past his main road home? Don’t try to hijack his credibility for your pro-LTN agenda.

A few folk cried foul last week because it was half-term in Ealing, so one week on here’s a video from today - 11:11am. Two vehicles in just over two minutes. Enjoy the quiet former LTN20. Oh, and that sunshine. ☀️

@BetterEaling Why are both sides of this road used for car storage? Why are cars driving in both directions? Why not make this a one way street, remove car storage on one side of the road and replace with a cycle lane?🚴🏾♀️🚴🏾♂️ Much better than LTNs exporting traffic & pollution to other roads.

How many times do I have to say LTNs aren’t a debate. It means kids fighting to breathe, going to hospital appointments, removing kids from school, kids mental health affected, family life disrupted. Not knowing if an ambulance will arrive on time. See it’s real life for 1000s

Mental scenes on Leighton and St Kilda this morning at 09:15, a black cab driver was actually pleasant and let me pass without confrontation! Careful guys, it’s crazy out there. So much that people want to close this road and surrounding and push the handful of traffic onto mine.

@simonjcalvert @BenSmithHull Find it interesting when people tweet about the "carnage" on Ealing streets. Having written about people being pick-axed to death in Cambodia etc I can't see the comparison.
