This month holds an anniversary.
4 years ago, on Feb 11th, I found a lump.
3 days later, on Valentine’s Day, it was confirmed to be cancer.
Stage 3.
I was only 36.
I had 4 young children.
It was surreal. Still is.
I had a difficult few days, but I’m still here.

An update on my stage 4 cancer treatment for those interested.
I just left my oncology appointment/infusion.
Things are going well so far.
My pleural effusion has cleared.
My labs are reflecting that the current treatment is working as intended.

For example: they pulled another 2 liters of fluid from my left lung today.
