Worth pointing out that MI6 flew the trans flag outside their headquarters. Lamenting the societal loss of shared truth, and how it makes us vulnerable, seems to me a perfectly reasonable observation - I hope it is accompanied by appropriate levels of self-reflection by MI6.

It can’t be stressed enough that these people don’t know anything about anything. Blackie has no idea about Putin’s position vis a vis racism but he doesn’t like Putin and he doesn’t like racism so the two must be connected somehow.
The far right would side with Russia over Britain - because Putin shares their poisonous racism. There is nothing as unpatriotic as these extremists.

Service chiefs laying out the facts and it's for every MP and every party now to start telling the public in clear terms we need to mobilise society around self-defence - I don't want to see Polanski, Sultana or the sectarian MPs naysaying this... we need to choose to survive
