I think it’s becoming increasingly clear that the only way to save the Church of England is to unravel the whole managerialist system.

Perhaps I’m getting soft but find these sort of memorials- of people giving unglamorous but useful things- very moving. Especially when- sub gloria crucis- they are seen as part of the duty of the recipient of grace.
