“The most important thing to me was our mindset. We believed, expected, prepared to make it happen and could handle the ups and downs of the game without flinching, showing frustration, anxiety. We passed that test,” Curt Cignetti Winners practice being winners.

Cursing is rarely a symbol of low class. It's often a mark of high authenticity. Evidence: Swearing predicts higher rates of honesty and integrity. It signals a willingness to prize candor over courtesy. A little profanity shows that you're being real and you do give a damn.

If you want to know what it was like to win a regional championship in 1995…this is a must watch! The passion, energy, camaraderie, and an entire area (Ohio Valley) supported this team. You had to be there! Social Media has done its part to individualize & destroy team sports.

A passion of mine is to want to teach the game of football: to QBs & Coaches if needed & to all the great fans that truly have the desire to understand it! Just got done talking with #BoNix & he mentioned one of the best things about #SeanPayton the OC is how EVERY detail

Dan Campbell said, " You can’t just say we’re going to believe and not put the work in." "I think the belief comes from the work you put in and doing all the little things right." Your self-belief comes from action. It comes from doing the work.

PLAYERS: When coaches, teachers, or parents push you or hold you to high standards, it's often because they want you to be better. They want you to reach your potential. They want you to achieve your goals. Be coachable and appreciate how they might be able to help you.

The best coaches I was around were the ones that gave me ownership of what we were doing & listened to my thoughts! Reminds me of a couple conversations I’ve had recently with NFL coaches: 1) One said their QB didn’t bring them a lot of play ideas BUT was very vocal about his

COACHES: 51 players on the 2017 University of Central Florida football team that went a perfect 13-0 were also on the 2015 UCF team that was winless (0-12). It's not always about getting new players. Sometimes it's about developing the potential of the people you already have.

COACHES: It’s not always what we say that determines our culture but rather what our standard is. Those things we reinforce, permit, accept, reward, or allow determines our team's culture.

No coach or trainer can force you to get better. You must choose to put in purposeful work. Practice before practice. Lead during practice. Then practice more after practice. This game rewards those who build great habits. Getting better is a personal choice, not an obligation!
