Freeway is another one of my 3 x 1 set mesh concept plays for beating man coverage especially against Cover 0, Cover 1 & Cover 2 Man-Under. I love how this play can be run from multiple formations, allowing the offense to consistently attack & exploit defensive matchups.

I love this modernization triple option scheme from the shotgun alignment. Very effective in spreading the defense out & playing assignment football to defend the option.

Joe Moorhead (@BallCoachJoeMo) talking about a simple and effective Run Screen Option. Like the H-back’s run sell before releasing to the flat. Helps make LBer declare quickly. Just another way of running triple option football.

Love how the outside wide receivers find the side judge after every play to get line up properly.

TEMPO💨. -Tempo as identity not a tool.-Creates tired and un-sound defense.-Stealing yds and explosive plays.-More snaps more chances to score

Each of these concepts is designed around the quarterback’s read of a specific defensive lineman, which helps determine whether to hand off the ball, keep it, or make a pitch.

Coaches, today is funky formation Friday part 8 where I post an unbalanced formation I’ve used in the past. Having an unbalanced formations in your offensive scheme helps the offense become more unpredictable. This week I present Diamond X Over Formation.

The R4 grading system will help any offensive staff game plan perfectly vs any defense once every opposing defender has been scouted & evaluated properly. Way to work @CoachDubMaddox . Thanks for the innovation.

For any coaches out there looking for a reliable grading system to scout opponents while reviewing film, I recommend using Dub Maddox’s R4 system. It provides an effective framework for your coordinators to evaluate opposing players before you face them on the field.
